ABOUT US

Our Mission

Bandit Brewery is a small 10bbl micro-brewery located in the heart of Roncesvalles. We are a group of passionate beer heads who don’t take ourselves too seriously. We focus on making great beer that we’d like to drink ourselves. Our goal is to create an open and relaxed space where people can get together and enjoy themselves.

FAQ

Stephane and Shehzad met at a local Toronto craft brewery in 2012. Stephane who had been homebrewing for over 10 years back in France, introduced Shehzad to the beer making process. After spending most of their free time making beer in Stephane’s backyard (while drinking the previous batch) and checking out Canadian and American craft breweries, they decided to quit their jobs to start the adventure of opening up a craft brewery.

Although Shehzad and Stephane are best friends, they have very different tastes in beer! So, the beer creation process at Bandit results in long and passionate discussions between Shehzad, Stephane and Ben (who often has to serve as a tiebreaker). So it looks like Bandit’s beer will never be sweet, never be a brown ale and never exceed 1000 IBUs.
We were inspired by the experiences and the atmosphere of German beer gardens, that bring people from all walks of life together through great beer. Stephane lived in Germany and spend much of his time at these establishments and we wanted to create a brewery with that same relaxed, airy, comfortable and inclusive beer garden atmosphere.
At Bandit, we wanted to create a delicious small menu that best complement the beers, whether people are coming for a few drinks or for dinner. Like our beers, all our food is made from scratch and uses the highest quality ingredients. Our menu reflects the dishes we’ve enjoyed eating during our beer-drinking travels.
We don’t take reservations, but we do have venue rental services available. You can email info@banditbrewery.ca for more details.
Groups of 10 or more are required to give notice to the brewpub 48 hours prior to their visit. We do our absolute best to accommodate large walk-in groups but we offer no guarantees and chances are we may not be able to accomodate you during busy periods.  If you’d like to do a group booking, please email us at info@banditbrewery.ca
